Project Summary: Advancing Digital Engagement through Willo at the Jacobs Center for Health Innovation
The Willo Communications and Content Strategy initiative at the Jacobs Center for Health Innovation supports the center’s mission to promote health equity, innovation, and community empowerment through dynamic digital engagement. This project focuses on leveraging Willo, an app designed to help connect students to UC San Diego resources and communities, to streamline communication, enhance user experience, and amplify the impact of health research and programs.
My role in this initiative involves designing intuitive user journeys, curating accessible and inclusive content collections, and developing a scalable digital framework that enables researchers, partners, and community members to easily navigate resources and connect with key initiatives. Core contributions include establishing branded content strategies, refining information architecture, integrating storytelling with public health messaging, and aligning platform capabilities with the center’s strategic communication goals.
Through intentional design, community-centered narratives, and cross-functional collaboration, this project strengthens the Jacobs Center’s digital presence and empowers users to engage meaningfully with cutting-edge health innovation and research.
